About me
Lipe "Curioso" is an independent Brazilian artist known for his innate curiosity and profound passion for the arts of visual expression and movement. He intricately connects with his cultural heritage through the expressive dynamics of Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian art that gracefully intertwines dance and combat. In addition to be a Capoeira Instructor, Lipe is a certified Organic Flow instructor and a performer with the Contemporary Dance Movimento Project on Cape Cod. As a recipient of a grant from the New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA), Lipe is actively developing projects focused on Capoeira performances throughout Cape Cod. Currently, he is dedicated to an ambitious endeavor documenting trhough photography the Capoeira scene across New England.
